Role Overview
- Position Type: Full Time Permanent
- Start Date: Term 3, 2026 (July)
- Location: Sirius College — Melbourne and Regional Victoria (multiple campuses)
- Role Type: Pastoral Care and Student Wellbeing
- Salary:$78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.
- Provide proactive pastoral care and wellbeing support to students across the college community
- Monitor and respond to student welfare concerns in a timely, compassionate and professional manner
- Collaborate with teachers, leadership and external agencies to coordinate student support plans
- Maintain accurate wellbeing records and documentation in line with college and legislative requirements
- Facilitate wellbeing programs and initiatives that build student resilience, connection and belonging
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and values-driven school culture across all campuses
You're a qualified teacher who:
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
- Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
- Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
- Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
