Role Overview
- Position Type: Full Time Permanent
- Start Date: Term 3, 2026
- Location: Melbourne's Northern Suburbs
- Year Levels: Upper Primary Teacher
- Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Years 5 and 6 students aligned to the Victorian Curriculum
- Foster a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that supports the academic achievement and wellbeing of all students
- Implement a values-based approach to teaching that builds student respect, inquiry and responsibility
- Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing timely feedback to students and families
- Build positive, respectful relationships with students, families and the broader school community
- Collaborate with primary colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation and professional learning
You're a qualified teacher who:
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
- Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
- Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
- Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
