This Catholic co-educational secondary college operates across two campuses in Melbourne's outer-west within the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) network. The College brings a distinctive combination of compassion, service, and academic purpose to a modern educational setting.
This campus is well-established with 1,200+ students and a full range of senior pathways. The second campus, one of Victoria's newest Catholic secondary schools, is growing rapidly and will accommodate 1,500 students by 2028.

Role Overview
- Position Type: Full Time Permanent
- Position of Leadership: POL 3 (three-year tenure)
- Start Date: Term 1, 2027
- Location: Melbourne's Western Suburbs
- Subject Areas: Languages: Italian and Auslan
- Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.
- Lead curriculum planning, assessment design, moderation and data analysis across the Languages (Italian and Auslan) learning area
- Model, mentor and coach teachers towards instructional excellence through evidence-informed lesson demonstrations and feedback
- Promote cultural understanding and student engagement across Italian and Auslan programs at all year levels
- Coordinate cross-campus consistency in Languages curriculum delivery in line with the Victorian Curriculum and VCAA requirements
- Manage the Languages learning area budget, resources, booklists and professional learning opportunities for staff
- Collaborate with college leadership to actively promote Languages across the school community and support co-curricular language initiatives
You're a qualified teacher who:
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
- Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
- Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
- Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
