AndFound Educate is currently partnering with a Catholic co-educational secondary college in Melbourne's outer-west to appoint a Domain Leader Technology (POL 3).

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Technology faculty across a well-established campus and help shape the future of practical learning in a growing Catholic school community.

About the School

This Catholic co-educational secondary college operates across two campuses in Melbourne's outer-west within the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) network. The College brings a distinctive combination of compassion, service, and academic purpose to a modern educational setting.

One campus is well-established with 1,200+ students and a full range of senior pathways. The second campus, one of Victoria's newest Catholic secondary schools, is growing rapidly and will accommodate 1,500 students by 2028. Together, they serve families across Melbourne's outer-western communities.

Role Overview
  • Position Type: Full Time Permanent
  • Position of Leadership: POL 3 (three-year tenure)
  • Start Date: Term 1, 2027
  • Location:  Melbourne's Western Suburbs
  • Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.
Role Responsibilities
  • Lead curriculum planning, assessment design, moderation and data analysis across the Technology learning area
  • Coordinate Technology Assistants across Wood, Food, Textiles, Materials and IT and manage OH&S policies, Chemical Registers and Safe Operating Procedures
  • Model, mentor and coach teachers towards instructional excellence through evidence-informed practice and feedback
  • Oversee half-yearly tool servicing, equipment maintenance and safe storage across all relevant Technology subjects
  • Manage the Technology learning area budget, resources, booklists and professional learning opportunities for staff
  • Organise extra-curricular activities, competitions and Orientation Day activities for Technology
About You
You're a qualified teacher who:
  • Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
  • Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
  • Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
  • Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
  • Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
