This Catholic co-educational secondary college operates across two campuses in Melbourne's outer-west within the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) network. The College brings a distinctive combination of compassion, service, and academic purpose to a modern educational setting.
One campus is well-established with 1,200+ students and a full range of senior pathways. The second campus, one of Victoria's newest Catholic secondary schools, is growing rapidly and will accommodate 1,500 students by 2028.

Role Overview
- Position Type: Full Time Permanent
- Start Date: Term 1, 2027 (January)
- Location: Melbourne's Western Suburbs
- Subject Areas / Year Levels: English, Years 7-12
- Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons across Years 7-12 aligned to the Victorian Curriculum and VCAA requirements
- Support students through VCE English and EAL/D pathways with confidence and subject expertise
- Foster a love of literature, language and critical thinking across all year levels
- Stay informed about curriculum initiatives and recommend contemporary digital learning materials to enhance student outcomes
- Maintain accurate student records, assessments and reporting in line with college requirements
- Collaborate with faculty colleagues and the Domain Leader English on curriculum planning, text selection, moderation and professional learning
You're a qualified teacher who:
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
- Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
- Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
- Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
