Located in Melbourne's outer-west, this Catholic co-educational secondary college serves Years 7 to 12 within the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) network. With 1,200+ students on a well-established campus, the College has been serving families in the outer-western corridor.

The school focuses on developing the whole person spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. Students access VCE, VCE VM, and VET pathways alongside a strong co-curricular program. Role Overview
  • Position Type: Full Time Permanent
  • Start Date: Term 3, 2026 (July)
  • Location:  Melbourne's Western Suburbs
  • Subject Areas / Year Levels: Food Technology, Years 7-12
  • Reports to: Domain Leader and Deputy Principal — Learning and Teaching
  • Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.
Role Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, review and evaluate Food Technology curriculum across Years 7-12, working collaboratively with colleagues across both campuses in line with the Victorian Curriculum and VCAA requirements
  • Deliver high-quality, explicit instructional practice that develops a stimulating learning environment using a variety of effective teaching strategies to cater for individual learning needs
  • Monitor and assess student progress accurately, maintaining student records and providing timely feedback to students and families on their academic growth
  • Implement information and communications technologies effectively to enhance learning and use data to drive student outcomes in line with the College's School Implementation Framework
  • Develop assessment instruments collegially, support beginning teachers and student teachers, and participate in the College's staff appraisal process and ongoing professional development
  • Embrace and actively promote the College's Catholic ethos and Franciscan charism by participating in House and Domain meetings, College assemblies, liturgical celebrations and relevant college activities
About You
You're a qualified teacher who:
  • Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
  • Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
  • Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
  • Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
  • Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
