This Catholic co-educational secondary college operates across two campuses in Melbourne's outer-west within the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) network. The College brings a distinctive combination of compassion, service, and academic purpose to a modern educational setting.
This campus one of Victoria's newest Catholic secondary schools, is growing rapidly and will accommodate 1,500 students by 2028. Together, they serve families across Melbourne's outer-western communities. The college fosters a warm, faith-filled culture that genuinely invests in its people.
Role Overview
- Position Type: Full Time Permanent
- Position of Leadership: POL 3 (three-year tenure, reviewed annually)
- Start Date: Term 1, 2027
- Location: Melbourne's Western Suburbs
- Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.
- Lead the establishment and ongoing development of VCE and VCE VM programs at the Cobblebank Campus
- Chair meetings with VCE teaching staff and coordinate curriculum administration across Years 10-12
- Manage all aspects of VCE examination processes including GAT coordination, Unit 3 and 4 practice exams and VCAA liaison
- Lead the Applied Learning program including VCE VM, VPC, structured workplace learning and industry partnerships
- Coach and mentor teaching staff through the SFCC Growth Coaching Model to improve instructional practice
- Collaborate with the Deputy Principal, VET Coordinator and Pathways team to support senior students across all pathways
You're a qualified teacher who:
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
- Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
- Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
- Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
