Located in Melbourne's outer-west growth corridor, this Catholic primary school serves students from Prep to Year 6 within the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) network. It has quickly established itself as a strong choice for local families, building a vibrant multicultural community representing over 50 nationalities.
Teaching is structured through developmental learning communities and enriched by specialist programs in STEM, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, and PE. The school uses Visible Learning, the Science of Reading, and Positive Behaviours for Learning with whole-school Auslan as a distinctive feature. Role Overview
- Position Type: Full-time fixed term contract
- Start Date: Term 3, 2026
- Location: Melbourne's West Suburbs
- Year Level: Year 3
- Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 3 students aligned to the Victorian Curriculum
- Implement evidence-based practices including Visible Learning and the Science of Reading within the classroom
- Create a nurturing, inclusive and values-driven learning environment that supports the whole child
- Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting in line with college requirements
- Build positive relationships with students, families and the broader school community
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation and professional learning
You're a qualified teacher who:
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
- Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
- Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
- Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
